Cycling Around the Lake
On the shores of the lake, you can practice sports that allow true contact with nature.
Cycling enthusiasts can explore nature starting from the hills with breathtaking views, descend to the lake shores, and pass through the picturesque towns that overlook its waters.
Starting from Bolsena, the route proceeds through the lakefront of San Lorenzo, Grotte di Castro, the chapel of San Magno and Gradoli, finally arriving at Capodimonte, where you can detour to the ruins of Bisentium or continue to Marta, reaching Montefiascone before returning to Bolsena.
A route of approximately 53 km if completed, to be done on rural roads that cross woods, reed beds, olive groves, or cultivated fields: a true spectacle!
A fairly easy route, gently undulating, suitable for anyone with minimal fitness preparation.
Along the way, rest areas, equipped beaches, and picnic areas will make your experience even more enjoyable.
