Presepe vivente
The event takes place in the evocative medieval Rione Castello, along a 700-meter route that involves the entire neighborhood, and has established itself as one of the main Christmas attractions in Tuscia.
With the participation of 200 performers, approximately 15 life scenes, stage settings and handcrafted installations, visitors are literally absorbed into an authentic and evocative experience. The picturesque streets, alleyways and cellars of the quarter, reopened and illuminated for the occasion, create a magical and engaging atmosphere.
The reenactment of ancient trades and Bolsena traditions, the plants and presence of small animals, the ambient music, local “excellence” artists, small food and wine tastings, and attention to detail make the representation particularly realistic.
The Nativity, with the presence of a baby born that year, comes to life under the watchful eye of the splendid and imposing Rocca Monaldeschi which, for the occasion, is illuminated in blue and hosts a 7-meter Comet Star lit by nearly 50 meters of LED wire.
